Groper Island in the Solitary Islands

Watercolour artist Nancy Soultanian has captured the tranquillity of the moment. The beach is at Emerald Beach NSW Australia along the Coffs Coast. In the background floats Groper Island in an aqua and turquoise sea. 

Groper Island is part of the Solitary Islands and sits in the Solitary Islands Marine Reserve. From May to November whales can be seen passing through the islands and sometimes in quite close to the beach and headlands.
