Black opal purple crystal necklace.

The black opal crystal is Australian Lightning Ridge black opal. Hold it to the light you can see through it. They call this type of see through opal crystal opal, although it is not a true crystal like say quartz.

There is blue opal suspended within clear purple crystal opal which changes patterns as the opal is moved around.

Specifications

The opal has been set in a 7 x 5mm sterling silver basket pendant and is finished off with a fine sterling silver chain with a 45cm length.

The weight of the opal is 51cts when it was polished and set.
