Pearl and shell pendant necklace

This pearl and shell pendant has been finished with two freshwater pearls, sterling silver beads, wire and bail. A 45 cm Suede cord finishes the necklace ready to wear.

Created in our creative studio on the Coffs Coast of NSW Australia this piece of shell was collected for its twisted curves, symmetrical textured lines on the outside and smooth inside surface. It is the angle to suspend the pearls from the inside surface that gives the hint that something is hidden behind the shell.

Specifications

Overall maximum approximate dimensions are: 33.5mm long (shell); 16.8mm wide; 11mm deep; 46.5mm long from top of bail to bottom of shell. For comparison purposes a US 1 cent coin has been used to visualise the size.
