Purple African Daisy

This greeting card takes a portion of an Purple African Daisy flower highlighting the petals that radiate out from the flower centre.

Photographer Julie Blamire draws our eye to flower centre and the stamen just as the flower does to attract attention of bees to pollinate the flower.

African Daisies are hardy plants and are also known Osteospernum. They originate from South Africa hence there common name of African Daisy. 

Flowers will close up at night in your garden while the plant prefers well drained soils to thrive.
