Australian opal in the shape of "J"

From a piece of sandy Lightning Ridge opal rough with a speck of green colour on one side I carved out this green opal in the shape of a natural J. I have simply smoothed the edges and flattened the top of the J. 

A natural shape of the letter J created by nature millions of years ago. 

Specifications

Maximum  approximate overall dimensions are: 

weight 2.77ct; 

length 14.7mm; 

width 9.5mm, and 

thickness 6.75mm. 

The opal has been photographed on a US 1 cent coin for comparison purposes only and it is the same size as an Australian 5 cent coin. Description as per photographs. 

 The Green opal has a hint of blue and is a dark opal. Instead of cutting several smaller opal from this piece I have decided to leave it as it is. 

So if your first or last name starts with a "J" this could be your statement piece. One of a kind. This natural "J" green dark opal can be left as a specimen or set into an unusual pendant set if desired with other accent stones.
