Australian banknote print error.

Australia $2 Two Dollar banknote error issued 1979 with signatures Knight and Stone. Catalogue numbers R87 and Mc129.

This is an unusual banknote error as seen in the scans going almost through the centre of the banknote, from Australia at the top, missing the Rams face and chest along with most of Knights signature and titles. Note the Left of centre thread is clearly seen in the area of missing print without damage to the thread or green printed area.

Condition as per scans. Note toning after 40 years.
