Horse greeting card

Greeting card of a grey horse head painted side on from Australian artist Sima Kokaev.

The painting technique used here is to paint in oils on a zinc-alum metal sheet and when the paint was dry Sima etched lines with a sharp tool into the painting scraping away the paint to reveal the metal underneath. 

The result in the original painting is that the reflective metal surface picks up light in the room and changes as the light changes in the room during the day. A truly amazing technique.

There is soul captured in the eye of the horse and a beautiful card to send to someone special.

Each greeting card comes with a quality self-sealing envelope and is enclosed in a protective cellophane envelope.

• Blank on the inside.
• Printed on 235gsm semi-gloss card stock.
